Lake City FL- In an epic first round 6A playoff battle on Friday, Riverside (10-1) enacted revenge upon Columbia (6-5) 17-3 to advance to the second round of the playoffs. Riverside was led by their dominant defense, which held Columbia to 147 total yards. Jaheim Singletary had an interception and touchdown reception in the game. Daniel Plummer III had a touchdown pass in the game on offense to lead the team. De’Avery Weeks was the player of the game with 3 sacks in the game. The game featured several highly recruited athletes including Singletary and Columbia’s Marcus Peterson (Cincinnati commit).
