Northeast Fl- It was a championship night for baseball district champions on, as several teams punched their tickets to the post season. We saw some blow-outs and some upsets that shocked teams. Let’s check out the district champions in baseball, and who held up the hardware to be crowned champs.

University Christian– District 2A-3

A no hitter for Forrest Pepperkorn and Mason McLeod also got a big fly. 15 hits in 4 innings in the distirct semifinals vs Seacoast Christian saw them win 21-0. Against Eagles View it was another hit fest with Shawn Robinson getting 3 hits on the night, in a 10-3 win. Worbington got the nod and as UC who goes back to back as district champs.


Trinity Christian -District 3A-2

Ethan Wheeler got the win for Trinity, as the Conquerors defeated West Nassau 5-1 to win the district championship. Jacob Miller and Lance Mixon both went 2-3 at bat with an RBI for Trinity.


St. Johns Country Day – District 2A-2

Jacob Thomas gets the win striking out 9 and allowing just 2 hits. Kody Daneault hits 2 run and Shawn Andrade adds a solo shot of his own and had 3 RBIs on night. Kyle Boylston and Jacob Thomas both have 2 hits and Hunter Rodgers adds RBI 2B. St. Johns Country Day defeats St Josephs 8-1 to in the district championship.


Providence-District 3A-3

Providence improved to 22-4 on the season with the 3-2 win over Fernandina for the District Championship! Kyle Powers earned the victory allowing 1 hit & 0 runs over 3 innings, 4 Ks & 0 walks. Donovan Rabiei got the start & surrendered 2 runs on 6 hits over 4 innings, striking out 4 & walking 1.


Flagler Palm Coast -District 7A-1

A 9-0 shutout of Creekside Flagler Palm Coast completed the memorable feat of winning a district championship. With a 5-3 win over Sandalwood in the smeifinals, the bulldogs won their first district championship since 2012. Dalton Schell got 3 hits and Tristen Miller got the win against Creekside.


Bishop Kenny -District 4A-3

Bishop Kenny Baseball defeated Yulee 6-3 to be crowned district champs, their third chip in a row. Franco Chaluja had 2 hits, UNF signee Jack Newman has had a great year, as well as Garrett Corbett.


Columbia -District 2-5A

Matt Dumas walks on five pitches and Hayden Gustavson hits a standup triple tstarting hot for a hot night for him and his Tigers. Columbia would defeat Lincoln 9-0 to win the district championship.


Tocoi Creek -District 4A-4

Tocoi Creek defeated Sante FE 6-3 to win the district championship. Tocoi went 15-11 in the season, getting a bye and defeating Menendez before takign down Sante Fe. Tocoi got hot mid-season defeating Dr Phillips, St Josephs, and Interlachen.


Baker County-District 4A-2

Baker County defeated Wakulla 7-6 to win the district championship. The Wildcats went 20-6 on the season. Titus Richardson made 3 hits and Jack Wright had 2 RBI on the night. Ty Walker got the win for Baker County.


Ponte Vedra- District 5A-4

Ponte Vedra won the 5A district 4 championship with a 10-0 victory over Englewood. Matt Hoag threw 5 no hit innings with 11Ks in the win. Cade Eidam had 3Bs. Ethan Yesensky & Sam Evans had 2Bs.


Ridgeview -District 5A-3

Ridgeview upset #1 seeded Clay 8-1 on their way to a district championship. Clayton Gulbrand had 4 hits and 2 RBIs. Billy Girgis got the win for the team wit hfive strike outs.


Buchholz – District 6A-2

A 6 run thrid inning capped the night for the Bobcats defeating Fleming Island 9-0 for the district championship. Noah Hayse, Kai So, Cedaris Smith, and JJ Gardner drove in runs on the nght to start hot and never cool off. Austin Cardozo got the win.
