Resar struck first, showing incredible poise and command of the offense, he drove down the field hitting Kaleb Lampkins for an explosive 32-yard pass connection.

Just a few plays later Resar would pump fake to freeze the defender and toss a beautiful pass down the righ sideline for a touchdown to wide receiver JP Donovan for the game’s first score.

Tisdale would take the field and immediately show why scouts love the signal caller. He connected with several receivers gaining a first down.

However, a 4th and 5 pass was dropped, turning the ball over to Bishop Kenny near mid-field. This would be a sign of things to come for First Coast.

It didn’t take long for the 247 Sports 4-star quarterback to make First coast pay for gambling. James Resar found Lampkins again, this time for a 35-yard fly-pattern. The James Resar to Kaleb Lampkins connection is going to be serious this year.

Following the pulling block of FAU commit Ethan Profitt, Resar kept the ball on a designed run off left tackle and cut on a dime in-stride to the end-zone for a touchdown.
