Changing The View; Eagles View Off To It’s Best Start In Five Years

The 2025-2026 football season has been nothing short of exciting for Eagles View High School in Jacksonville, Florida. With explosive plays, strong leadership, and a fearless mindset, the Warriors are turning heads and proving they belong among the area’s top football programs.

Their signature win of the season came in a dominant 50-14 victory over Cedar Creek, a game that showcased just how dangerous this offense can be. Eagles View racked up a jaw-dropping 500 yards of total offense and scored seven touchdowns in the blowout win. It was the kind of performance that left fans cheering and opponents stunned.

Quarterback Jordan Daniels was the star of the show, lighting up the scoreboard with his arm. Daniels completed 10 of 19 passes for 304 yards and five touchdowns. His confidence and accuracy have made him one of the most reliable passers in the area this season. Whether throwing deep bombs or threading tight passes across the middle, Daniels has shown he can do it all.

Of course, every great quarterback needs a reliable target—and Ethan Garland has been that and more. Garland had a monster game against Cedar Creek, catching five passes for 139 yards and three touchdowns.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, he even threw a touchdown pass of his own, completing his only attempt for 20 yards and a score. His versatility and playmaking ability have made him one of the biggest weapons in Eagles View’s offense. Garland has 10 touchdown receptions on the year.

On defense Tyson Callum has made a significant impact on the field as a Linebacker for the Eagles. Known for his speed, agility, and high football IQ, Callum is a dynamic player capable of taking over a game. He has recorded 68 tackles11 TFL, and 5 sacks, in just 6 games played.

Along with Callum is Michael Goins who is second on the team with 66 tackles. Also freshman Teyon Jackson and senior Jacorri Lavoile both have 7.5 sacks on the year. Lavoile also contributes on offense leading the team with 461 yards rushing and 2 TDs. Look out for Jackson as he is making a big impact and he’s just getting started in his high school career.

But beyond the stats, what really stands out about this year’s team is their energy and chemistry. They play with heart and hustle every down, feeding off each other’s success. Under the guidance of their head coach Ken Bailey and the coaching staff, the Warriors have shown tremendous growth and maturity throughout the season.

Their off to their best season record wise in four years at 4-3. Defeating Hilliard in a 22-14 nailbiter. They also took down perennial playoff power Rocky Bayou Christian 22-0. Rocky Bayou is the defending SSAA State Champions. Their 45-20 victory over Seven Rivers Christian was their largest before the blowout of Cedar Creek.

As the 2025-2026 season continues, the Warriors are focused on finishing strong and keeping their momentum going. With Daniels leading the offense and Garland continuing to make highlight-reel plays, the sky’s the limit for this talented group.

Eagles View football is flying higher than ever, and if they keep up this pace, more big wins are sure to come their way. They’ll take on Keswick Christian this Friday at home, as coach Bailey and company continue to change view at Eagles View.
