Playoffs: Raines Outscores Opponents 97–6, Sights Set On Regional Finals

Jacksonville Fl- The Raines Vikings have kicked off the 2025–2026 postseason in overwhelming fashion, powering their way to playoff victories of 43–6 over Baker County and 54–0 over West Florida. Behind a punishing ground attack, explosive defensive playmaking, and lights-out quarterback performance, the Vikings look every bit like one of Florida’s most complete championship contenders.

Raines opened the postseason by dismantling Baker County with contributions from all three phases. Quarterback Timothy Cole was sharp, throwing two touchdowns, connecting with Zion Butler and Ethan Sherman on scoring plays that stretched the defense and opened the field.

Complementing the passing game, the Vikings’ backfield delivered with precision, as Tadarius Washington and Tisean Haynes each ran for touchdowns behind a physical offensive line.

The defense made its presence felt early and often. Cameron Washington and company swarmed the Cats sacking the quarterback several times. Johdeem Jones scored on a fumble recovery, continuing his season-long impact as one of Raines’ most disruptive defenders.

Special teams joined the scoring surge as well, with Shareef Jackson electrifying the sideline with a kickoff-return touchdown that put the game firmly out of reach. By the final whistle, Raines’ depth and discipline overwhelmed Baker County, setting the tone for a dominant playoff run.

But the Vikings saved their most complete performance for the next round, where they delivered a 54–0 shutout of West Florida—a game filled with explosive highlights and defensive dominance.

Raines established control immediately when #22 Johdeem Jones opened the action with a sack deep in West Florida territory. That defensive stand set up the offense, and on the next possession, #5 Tadarius Washington burst free for a 49-yard rushing touchdown, giving the Vikings a 6–0 lead. Moments later, the defense struck again as #9 Troy Butler recorded another sack to bury West Florida’s momentum.

Raines’ run game continued to punish the Jaguars, with #12 Tisean Haynes slicing through the defense for a 14-yard touchdown, extending the lead to 12–0. The defensive line continued its onslaught as #1 Tony Williams delivered a sack of his own—then followed it with one of the game’s signature plays: a 5-yard fumble return touchdown to push the lead to 19–0.

Washington wasn’t done, breaking loose again for a 40-yard touchdown run, stretching the advantage to 26–0. With West Florida reeling, the Raines passing attack went to work. Quarterback #4 Timothy Cole connected on a 51-yard strike to #14 Devin Frazier for a touchdown, then found #18 Zion Green on a 5-yard score, and again on a 41-yard touchdown bomb, putting Raines ahead 47–0 and showcasing his command of the offense.

The Vikings closed out the rout with another defensive score as #15 Travis Williams scooped up a loose ball and raced 30 yards for a touchdown, capping off the 54–0 shutout and sealing Raines’ second straight playoff masterpiece.

Through two games, Raines has outscored opponents 97–6. In their last five games Raines has outscored opponents 263-15, displaying dominance at every level—offense, defense, and special teams. With momentum building, the Vikings are entering the next round as one of the most feared teams in the state, a squad hitting peak form at exactly the right time. They’ll face Bishop Kenny who defeated Godby 55-37 Friday, and ran over Wakulla 43-19 in round one.
