You cant miss this 6’3, 295lbs, 3-star Georgia Tech commit. Williams moves offensive linemen with brute force, pressures quarterbacks with reckless abandon, and pounces backs for TFLs. And that’s just defense..On offense he is a people mover, paving the way for his quarterbacks on keepers and running backs through the holes. The most valuable player for Trinity hands down.

Mister reliable was Jake Contner, as he was on the spot to catch everything thrown and even deflected his way. The 6’3, 180lbs WR dove for footballs, blocked mercilessly for his backs down field, and even played defense. Has offers from Temple, Middle Tenn State, Navy, Army, among others.

Anderson should’ve had 200 yards rushing and possibly 100 yards receiving if not for penalties that nullified huge touchdown runs by the spectacular sophomore. The 5’8, 178lbs back has deceptive power and decisive speed to break a game open like Trinity backs of the past. Excited to see two more years of him!

Ever since his eighth grade year, Terel Dallas Jr has been a name the entire city knows due to his incredible athleticism and leadership. Now as a junior, he is helping leading Trinity back to prominence, with enhanced athleticism, coupled with pristine passing.At 6’1, 195lbs, his dynamic play over the years had me thinking he was a senior, but he has one more year!

The best looking tackler on the field was Citadel commit Matthew Hammett.The 6’2, 210lbs backer was a tackling machine versus Trinity. UC’s defense leaves Hammett alone in the middle to seek and destroy backs. He evades offensive linemen and finds his target almost every time. Extremely impressive in this scheme.

The most physically imposing presence on the field was the 6’4, 195lbs 3-star USF commit. The defensive end turned corner showed incredible ability to jam receivers at the line, while running step for step with them down the field. Recruited as a linebacker, he looks like a Madden created player. I’d like to see coaches put him on offense from time to time, where he can follow in the footsteps of former Trinity greats. Pinkney can certainly do it!

At 6’3, 290lbs, Hamilton is under-recruited and should be generating more offers from several colleges. I saw #57 manhandle players his size, and go one on one with one of the best defensive lineman in the area. When you can do that, it means coaches have confidence in you to handle your business against the best. Hamilton deserves more recognition, and will as the season progresses.

Turn on the tape versus UC and you’ll see #6 all over the field for Trinity’s defense. He had the highest motor. He had the most relentless pursuit. And he saved several potential touchdowns with his hustle. A versatile athlete that can play both sides of the ball, the 6’0, 205lbs Washington is the new pure “football player” at Trinity that coach Dorminey loves.

Walker really stood out in the game as a multi-faceted threat. He ran drag routes fearlessly with precision gaining first downs. He nearly scored when breaking several tackles on his way to the endzone in the second half. Listed at 5’8, 165lbs, this sophomore plays much bigger. He’ll be a big name in the years to come.

Another Ross is at Trinity, meaning he comes with leadership, character, football intelligence, and play-making ability. The 5’9, 175lbs Ross plays backer for Trinity, diagnosing plays and stuffing running backs.

Craig is a 6’0, 210lbs heat seeking missile that explodes on contact with quarterbacks for sacks, and runningbacks for TFLs. He had the hit of the night versus Trinity, setting to the tone for a physical match. Craig is certainly a tone setter. He has an offer from Warner.

Davis blew up everything on the edge from his OLB position. Finished the game with 4 TFLs, 7 Tackles, and 1 FF. The 5’11, 195lbs athlete was one of the quickest athletes on the UC defense. That explosiveness will yield lots of turnovers this year caused by Davis.

Greene showed impressive tracking skills as he secured an interception over his shoulder to stop a UC drive. The 6’0, 160lbs also forced a fumble on a sack. A 3-star recruit, Greene has offers from FSU,Arkansas, Penn State, South Carolina among many other power 5 offers.

The FSU commit did not play in the contest versus Trinity Christian. However, the 6’3, 235lbs pass catcher is a mismatch for every high school defense. He can manhandle DBs on the edge by blocking, and out-run linebackers in space. He is a big target for quarterbacks.

He told me that “no one can cover me”..well he showed it by burning some of UC’s fastest players in their match up Friday night. One of the plays resulted in an 89-yard bomb that Richards caught in stride for a TD. At 6’0, 175lbs, and speed unlike anyone else on the field, Richards is a dangerous weapon for Trinity, and any college program.
