Runningback #7 Davon Davis scored on a 60 yard touchdown run and a 65 yard touchdown run on back to back possessions, to propel the undefeated Highlands Wildcats over the Northwestern Bulls. Highlands would capitalize on offense with big plays from their playmakers to go up early, and rely on the playmakers on defense to keep Northwestern at bay.

The game was close early on as these two Nothern Conference rivals felt each other out. Northwestern was determined to come out and have a better showing than they had in their previous games. They achieved this goal by playing Highlands tough even when getting down early in the game. But in the end it was Highlands who ran away with the contest with speed, power , and experience.

Next up , Highlands(4-0) will have one of their toughest tests of the season as they play Oceanway (3-1). Northwestern(1-3) will look to get back on the winning track versus Ribault.
