JACKSONVILLE-Congratulations to the DuPont Middle School Boys Soccer team, on their victory over James Weldon Johnson to become the 2017 Duval County Middle School Boys Soccer Champions. DuPont defeated James Weldon 3-0 to win the title.
It was a great season by the DuPont Dragons who went 8-0 in their division in the regular season, and 9-1 overall on the season.
They had a tough test against James Weldon Johnson (10-0, 10-1) who always has a tough soccer program, but the Dragons were able to capitalize on great defense and athletic play from their MVP Maw Hu who scored 2 goals and Ning Mung who scored a goal as well.
