  1. Ribault (1-0)- With brand new pieces to their puzzle, and facing the biggest team in the county, Ribault still completely dominated a good Kirby Smith team. They served notice on everyone, that there may be a new Sheriff in town.
  2. Gilbert(1-0)- The defending champions completely annihilated Oceanway in week #1. A 40 point first half performance would’ve been a no brainier for our number one spot in years past. But this year, they have to prove it against a better opponent.
  3. Fletcher(1-0)- The 2016 county runner-ups took care of business against Ft. Caroline last week. It was enough to solidify them a spot in the top three. They were one of only four teams to shutout their opponent in week one.
  4. Twin Lakes(1-0)- The defending south division champions won emphatically against Darnell Cookman. It was easy prey for the wolves.
  5. Dupont(1-0)- The Dragons made Mandarin pass them sticks last week. Shutting them out 21-0.  Of the four teams that presented a goose egg to their opponents, Dupont had the second largest point differential of the bunch.
  6. Jeff Davis(1-0)- There looks to be a regime change in the west division, as Jeff Davis is the talk of the town on the “Westside!!!!” Their decisive defeat of James Weldon revealed a lot.
  7. Jeb Stuart(1-0)- Jeb Stuart upset the defending Western division champions in their opener. A huge win and a promising start for a team that will challenge for the West title.
  8. Arlington(1-0)- Their thrilling victory over Kernan last week has every one buzzing in Arlington. The talent is there to challenge Fletcher for the East.
  9. Landmark(1-0)- The Seahawks are 1-0 thanks to a soaring victory over their long time rival Mayport.
  10.  Kirby Smith(0-1)- It’s not ordinary that we’d have an 0-1 team on the power rankings. But Kirby Smith is a big team that has lots of talent.

Honorable Mention: Northwestern (1-0), Southside (1-0), Stilwell (1-0)
