Northeast Florida- As the school year officially comes to a close for all surrounding counties in Northeast Florida, its time to look to the future, the future of High School Football in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida! For the second year in a row, DuvalSports.com will release a list of the top 50 middle school football athletes in the area. The list contains names that you will certainly hear on Friday nights as well as Saturday afternoons at the collegiate level. Players from middle school football teams from the area that only DuvalSports.com covered them all. With the tremendous succcess from last year, this year we’re doing it even bigger and better. It’s an exciting time for student athletes, parents and sports fans in our area, as we look at the future of football on the first coast!

The 2017 list came with much fanfare but some controversey as a debate ensued about who the best players heading to high school were. In the end, we proved we got it right as many of the players on the list made instant impacts on the field as freshman at various high schools in our area.
