Ribault Rushes Past Jeff Davis To Championship Game

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Ribault Colts and Jeff Davis Chargers both came into the semifinal game undefeated with records of 5-0. It was a hard fought battle all game but the Colts came out on top winning 6-0.

In the first and majority of the second quarter both teams were held scoreless. But with 30 seconds to go in the first half, Naeem Burroughs scored a 55-yard touchdown to put the Colts up 6-0 at the half.

The second half saw big defensive plays from the Colts defensive line. Adron Walker made a big tackle and then the Colts recovered a Chargers fumble on Jeff Davis’ 45-yard line.

The Ribault Colts will now face the Landmark Seahawks next Tuesday, November 24th at Terry Parker High School to battle it out and see who will be crowned the middle school football champion. Kickoff is set for 7pm.

But Mandarin and Jeff Davis will face off first to see who will take home third place. Their kickoff is set for 5:30pm next Tuesday at Terry Parker.
