Daytona Beach Fl- Bartram improved to 2-0 Friday as they defeated Seabreeze 38-27. Bartram built a 31-0 halftime lead over Seabreeze. Laython Biddle led the rushing attack for Bartram scoring several times in the first half. Willie Bryant also got into the scoring action for Bartram as their ground game completely overwhelmed Seabreeze.
Seabreeze would make a late run at it with quarterback Sam Gonzalez’s score. That galvanized the Sandcrabs as they score 27 points in the second half.
However Bartram was too far ahead and was just to much for the Sandcrabs. Cook Williams closed out the scoring for Bartram, as an all around rushing effort took form for the Bears.
Bartram faces Mainland next Friday while Seabreeze (0-2) faces University (0-2).
