Lakeland Fl- Congratulations to the Class 2A Florida High School Girls Weightlifting State Champions in the Traditional Style Lift Middleburg Broncos. They scored a total of 23 points, edging out Leesburg (19) and Fleming Island (14) to hoist the trophy as champs.

It’s been a great year for the lifters as several athletes won regional medals as well. The team won a Regional championship to start off the month, which ignited an explosion of overall team power from the Broncos.
Congratulations to the dedicated coaching staff, and athletes at Middleburg high school, for bringing home the state title for Northeast Florida.
