It’s been another impactful season for the Impact Christian Academy boys basketball team, as the Lions combined size, scoring balance, and defensive intensity to establish themselves among Northeast Florida’s elite programs. With disciplined execution on both ends of the floor, Impact achieved a season highlighted by statement victories, standout individual performances, and a drive to be the best. That drive now shifts to the postseason, where five wins grants opportunity to hoist the championship trophy.
The Lions surged through the schedule with an impressive 23-4 record and several high-profile wins, including a signature victory over Andrew Jackson High School — a result that elevated their regional standing and showcased their ability to perform in pressure situations. That win reflected the team’s identity: physical inside play, aggressive perimeter defense, and multiple scoring threats capable of taking over a game.

Senior guard Ronald Clark has been one of the team’s most reliable leaders, averaging 13.7 points, 3.2 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Clark’s steady ball handling and defensive instincts have helped control tempo while creating transition opportunities. His ability to score while facilitating for teammates has made him a central piece of the Lions’ offense.

Jeremiah Jones has delivered steady offensive production as well, contributing 11.6 points per game and providing another dependable scoring option that prevents defenses from focusing on any one player.

Inside, the Lions are anchored by imposing 6-foot-9 center Mechack Olungu, who has been dominant in the paint. Olungu averages 10.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, controlling the glass and protecting the rim. His size and physical presence along with 6’7 Lillian Tchabo have given Impact Christian a major advantage in rebounding margin and interior defense throughout the season.
As a team, the Lions have thrived on balance. Multiple double-digit scorers, strong rebounding numbers, and active perimeter defense have allowed them to average roughly the high-60s in scoring while limiting opponents to far fewer points. Their ability to turn defensive stops into transition offense has been a defining strength.

It’s the blueprint of head coach Benjamin Jones and staff who have created a squad that can score and defend from every area of the floor. The pressure they’ve put on teams yielded success, including another District Championship after dismantling NFEI 67-48.

With experienced leadership, interior dominance, and a roster filled with productive contributors, the 2025–2026 Impact Christian Academy Lions are poised to deliver one of the strongest post-season pushes in program history. A team defined by depth, discipline, and the ability to rise to the moment when the competition is at its best. It beings against Meadowbrooks academy in round 1.
