
Northeast Fl- The Tocoi Creek High School Toros combined star power, depth, and defensive toughness to reproduce another successful regular seasons in the program’s young history. They finished 20-8 in 2025. They came back in the 2025-2026 season to finish 21–6. This year Tocoi Creek again established itself as one of Northeast Florida’s most dangerous and balanced teams while building momentum for postseason play.
At the center of the Toros’ success was senior standout Audrey Beyer, who delivered a remarkable season on both ends of the floor. Beyer averaged 19.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, consistently leading the team offensively while anchoring key defensive stretches.

Her season carried historic significance — she surpassed 1,500 career high school points, cementing her place among the most accomplished scorers in program history. Beyer’s ability to take over games in critical moments made her the driving force behind Tocoi Creek’s championship push.
Running the offense with precision was Gabi Iturralde, who averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. A true floor general, Iturralde controlled tempo and created scoring opportunities while applying relentless defensive pressure. She also reached a major personal milestone, surpassing 1,000 career points, highlighting her consistency and long-term impact on the program.

Inside, Asiana McCreary provided physical presence and defensive stability, averaging 8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game. Her rim protection and rebounding helped define the Toros’ defensive identity, particularly in close games where interior stops proved decisive.




Tocoi Creek also benefited from strong complementary scoring. Freshman Naomi Gill contributed 7 points per game, showing poise well beyond her years, while Kaitlyn Farr added 6.6 points per contest, providing reliable perimeter production and offensive balance.

The Toros’ success was punctuated by several key victories that defined their season. Tocoi Creek earned a statement win over Ponte Vedra 61-35, showcasing late-game execution and defensive discipline. They followed with an impressive rivalry victory against Nease 66-49 and a strong performance against Buchholz 69-34, proving their ability to win a District Title with both tight defensive and high-scoring.
Statistically and stylistically, the Toros thrived on balance. Elite scoring from Beyer, playmaking from Iturralde, interior defense from McCreary, and steady contributions across the roster created a complete team capable of adapting to any opponent. Each of their wins strengthened their résumé and helped establish Tocoi Creek as a legitimate regional contender.

With historic individual milestones, signature wins, and a 21-win regular season, the 2025–2026 Tocoi Creek girls basketball team don’t just compete — they’ve announced themselves as a perennial powerhouse with the talent and experience to contend deep into the postseason. Coaches Jason Hughes, Alicia Milbrodt, Jonathan Tenenbaum, and Steve Rydzewski will have their team ready to host Oakleaf in round 1 of the FHSAA Class 6A Playoffs.
