Notheast Fl- The 2026 volleyball season continues to heat up across Northeast Florida, and the Week 4 Duval Sports D1 Top 10 features several major changes. Beachside remains the No. 1 team, while Ponte Vedra makes the biggest move of the week by jumping from No. 5 to No. 2.
The rankings are based on team records, recent performances, strength of schedule, and the quality of competition.
1. Beachside Barracudas — 11-0
Beachside continues to set the pace with a perfect 11-0 record. The Barracudas have remained one of the most consistent teams in the area, earning wins against strong opponents such as Middleburg, Mandarin, and Pronte Vedra.
Freshman outside hitter Nina Simanic has been one of the team’s top offensive players. Setter Mollie Vandeusen has helped keep the offense organized, while middle hitter Ariella Bostic has provided a strong presence at the net.
Beachside will face more challenges as the season moves forward, including matches against other ranked teams. The Barracudas remain the team everyone is trying to catch.
2. Ponte Vedra Sharks — 5-2
Movement: Up from No. 5 to No. 2
Ponte Vedra makes the biggest jump in this week’s rankings after improving to 5-2. The Sharks have shown steady progress and have moved ahead of several teams that were ranked above them in Week 3. It was a big 3-2 win over Fleming Island, a team that was ranked number 1. Then they took down Bolles 3-0 before falling to #1 Beachside 3-0 going 2-1 in a murders row of top teams on the schedule.
Junior outside hitter Vivienne Woodbury has been a key offensive weapon, while senior middle blocker Lily Keeley gives Ponte Vedra strength at the net. Brianna Rihlmann has also been important in the back row.
The Sharks’ upcoming schedule includes difficult matches against teams such as Fleming Island, Beachside, and other St. Johns County opponents. Those contests will provide an opportunity for Ponte Vedra to prove that its new ranking is deserved.
3. Fleming Island Golden Eagles — 9-2
Movement: Down from No. 2 to No. 3
Fleming Island drops one spot despite holding an impressive 9-2 record. The Golden Eagles have earned victories over Providence, Bishop Kenny, Ridgeview, Mandarin, Oakleaf, and Fletcher.
Their recent win over Trinity Christian proved that they indeed deserved their number 1 ranking early in the season. They will have a chance to reclaim it soon.
The Golden Eagles’ upcoming schedule remains challenging, with matches against teams such as Trinity, Middleburg, and Wolfson. Fleming Island will have several opportunities to move back up the rankings.
Junior attacker Lillie Eason has been one of Fleming Island’s leading offensive threats. Lauren Brosky adds another strong option on the attack, while middle blocker Kaylee Clark helps control the net.
4. Trinity Christian Conquerors — 11-4
Movement: Down from No. 3 to No. 4
Trinity moves down one spot but still owns an impressive 11-4 record. The Conquerors have picked up wins against Ridgeview, St. Augustine, Providence, and Fletcher while facing some of the toughest teams in the area.
Senior outside hitter Nova Hewlett has been a major offensive leader. Raelyn Williams has provided efficiency at the net, while setter Emma Hernesman has helped lead the offense and serve-receive game.
Trinity’s next stretch includes matchups against Ponte Vedra, Bolles, and other ranked opponents. Those matches could have a major impact on the next rankings.
5. Middleburg Broncos — 7-3
Movement: Down from No. 4 to No. 5
Middleburg falls one spot after moving to 7-3. The Broncos have earned important wins over Bartram Trail, Oakleaf, and Ponte Vedra. Their recent win against Wolfson was impressive as the Wolfpack is one of the hottest teams in the area. It shows veteran coaching, leadership, and talent of the Broncos.
Sophomore attacker Katelynn Laezza continues to be one of Middleburg’s top offensive players. At 6-foot-4, sophomore Abigail Grybb gives the Broncos a major blocking presence. Freshman libero Reese Forkum has also been important defensively.
Middleburg has upcoming tests against Clay, Bishop Kenny, Fleming Island, and Tocoi Creek.
6. Bolles Bulldogs — 6-2
Bolles remains at No. 6 with a 6-2 record. The Bulldogs have earned wins over Fletcher, Christ’s Church, and St. Johns Classical, while also facing tough competition from Beachside.
Senior Sophia Albaugh provides veteran leadership and offensive production. Izzy Fischer has been a steady contributor, while junior middle blocker Mallie Brackin gives Bolles strength around the net.
Bolles will have several important matches ahead against Oakleaf, Ponte Vedra, Bishop Kenny, Wolfson, Mandarin, Trinity, and Fletcher.
7. Wolfson Wolfpack — 9-4
Movement: Up from No. 8 to No. 7
Wolfson moves up one spot after improving to 9-4. The Wolfpack have earned notable victories over Baldwin, Bartram Trail, and Bishop Kenny.
Sophomore Bethany Stephens has been one of Wolfson’s leading attackers. Averie Porter has contributed at the net, while Mae Abernathy has helped stabilize the defense. Sophomore Carter Rowell achieved 1000 assists, proving that there is lots of young talent on this team.
Wolfson’s upcoming schedule includes matches against Oakleaf and other area opponents. The Wolfpack’s ability to continue beating quality teams will be important as they try to climb higher.
8. Fletcher Senators — 8-7
Movement: Down from No. 7 to No. 8
Fletcher drops one spot but remains in the Top 10 with an 8-7 record. The Senators have defeated teams such as Wolfson and Oakleaf while also battling strong opponents including Trinity and Fleming Island.
Junior middle hitter Chelsea Akakatang has been a key player at the net. Senior libero Brikelle Phillips leads the defensive effort, and setter Juliette Watson has helped the Senators create scoring opportunities.
Fletcher will continue to face a difficult schedule, including future matches against Bolles and other ranked teams.
9. Bishop Kenny Crusaders — 7-7
Bishop Kenny stays at No. 9 despite an even 7-7 record. The Crusaders have experienced both strong wins and difficult losses during a challenging schedule.
Junior outside hitter Chloe Johnson has been one of the team’s top offensive players. Aleena Lundy provides blocking strength, while senior Claire Newell has been a dependable defensive contributor.
Bishop Kenny’s upcoming matches against Middleburg, Providence, Bolles, Ponte Vedra, and Beachside will give the Crusaders opportunities to improve their record and move up the rankings.
10. Yulee Hornets — 11-3
New to the Top 10
Yulee enters the rankings at No. 10 with an outstanding 11-3 record. The Hornets have been one of the area’s most successful teams and earn a spot in the rankings because of their strong win total and consistent play. Kaveri Harris leads the team with 183 kills as well as Jasmine Douglas with 125 kills. Taylor Ross leads the team with 346 assits and 52 aces. Caliegh Shields 33 blocks is best on the squad, while Mylie Breutzmann has 223 Digs.
Yulee’s success has been built on strong team defense, serving, and balanced offensive production. The Hornets will need to continue competing well against stronger opponents to remain in the Top 10.
Week 4 Movement
The biggest story is Ponte Vedra’s rise from No. 5 to No. 2. after defeating Fleming Island. The Golden Eagles and Trinity each fall one position, while Middleburg drops from No. 4 to No. 5.
Wolfson moves up to No. 7, passing Fletcher. Bishop Kenny remains at No. 9, while Yulee enters the rankings at No. 10. Tocoi Creek, ranked No. 10 in Week 3, falls out of this week’s Top 10.
With Beachside still undefeated and several ranked teams scheduled to face one another, the next week could bring even more movement across the Duval Sports D1 Volleyball Top 10.
