Northeast Fl- Andre’ Ellis of Duval Sports D1 highlights some of the D1 college prospects from each game each week. Some players highlighted currently have offers, and some players highlighted don’t have offers, but have the potential due to their play and/or stature. It’s impossible to list all the athletes for every team, but these are just some of the athletes featured from this week.
Ridgeview At Fleming Island
Zion Longmire, RB 2027
The 5’10, 185lbs runningback moves piles and has shown that he can take it the distance against teams who under estimate his speed like Atlantic Coast.He scored multple times against Ridgeview, breaking arm tackles along the way.
Jordan Mesa, ATH 2027
The longtime athlete at Ridgeview who leads the team at quarterback, but also leads the team in interceptions. The 5’10, 170lbs player leads the team in several categories, showing versatility that can translate to other positions at the next level.
Greyson Critch, QB, 2028
At 6’0, 180lbs, Critch has a solid frame to run RPOs, and stand sturdy in the pocket. He showed his athleticism in the game versus Ridgeview, getting first downs with legs. He also threw a 2pt conversion to the pylon, showing arm strength.
Ryan Siliac, WR 2028
One of several playmakerss for Fleming Island that has a knack for finding open space and the endzone. He scored on a sweep in the game, but he also plays key roles on the team at 5’11, 173lbs.
Michale Moglia, OT 2027
The 6’10 , 400lbs Moglia did not play in the game, but we have covered him several times, including when he was just a freshman. With incredible size, Moglia has what cant be taught, and that’s power and natural protection for the quarterback.
Brady Digman, RB 2027
Digman is the juice that squeezes defenses from the initial drive. Hits holes with decisiveness, and has great vision to find daylight while running between the tackles. The 5’9, 185lbs back scored in the contest versus Ridgeview as well.
Drake Batts, DE 2028
The most impressive player on the Ridgeview defense in size and play, Batts is a 6’2,230lbs DE who can coral runners around the edge with his length. He also has the strength to bring defenders down while engaged with blockers.
Sebastian Vigilance, S 2028
A 6’4 safety who came up and made nice hits in the run and pass game. He is long and athletic and it shows on tape with his ability to harass receivers and make life difficult for quarterbacks to throw at.
Chase Donaldson, DB 2027
Chase Donaldson, one of Fleming Island’s captains and leaders is a quick instinctual athlete, who is always on the spot for tackles, pass break ups, and pivitol plays. The 5’9 corner covers alot of ground for defenses.
