Elijah Keys

The long and athletic defensive back from Fletcher began his senior season with a defensive performance to remember. He snatched 3 interceptions in the Senator’s home opener versus Ribault helping guide his team to victory. Keys provides extreme versatility to the corner position, with the ability to press, and cover lots of area with his range and wing-span. He is an excellent tackler, punishing receivers after the catch, and coming up to make hard hits on running backs and quarterbacks. In previous years, his performance shows up on tape and not necessarily the stat sheet, as he limited attempts to his side with tight coverage. Quarterbacks chose to throw elsewhere other than his side, and when they did try, receivers were met with blanketed coverage by the 2026 corner. Keys made the Gateway All-Conference team in 2024 capping a year that began hot with collegiate offers. With 17 D-1 offers, Keys chose UCF over schools like South Carolina, Pitt, and Tulane. We’re just scratching the surface of an athlete with limitless potential.
