Karon Washington led the Wolfpack with 20 points as Wolfson defeated Yulee 70-53. Wolfson (22-0) jumped out early on Yulee with an 11-2 score in the first quarter. The lead would get to 16-7 at one point in the first quarter, and Wolfson led 22-11 at the end of the 1st period.

However, Yulee would not be defeated so easily. Xavier Steward began to hit shots for the Hornets as Yulee eventually cut the lead to two points. A game where Yulee seemed out of sink with one another proved to be quite the opposite in the second period as Yulee began to play together. They would trail Wolfson 34-32 at halftime.

In the second half, Yulee would keep it close, but Wolfson would eventually pull away. Coach Bruce Rosebrock made crucial adjustments that over powered Yulee after halftime. Coach Patrick McKie had his Hornets playing inspired ball tonight against one of the best basketball teams in the city. But it was not good enough this evening. Yulee would fall 70-53.
Wolfson is now 22-0 overall and 8-0 in district play.
