If it’s August then that means it’s time for the fall sports to kick off in Northeast Florida, one of the most exciting times of the year for sports fans. Well as a tradition here on DuvalSports.com, August also means it’s the month to roll out our most popular series of stories leading up to the start of regular season games. Our Best of the Best Series! We reach in the past and pull back the future to connect these extrodinary sportsmen in a tournment of champions to crown who is the “Best of the Best” in that particular sport or catagory. In 2016, we kicked it off with the hugley successful Best High School Football Team of All Time. We followed that up with the extremely popular Best High School Coach of All Time. Well this year, we jump back to football, and decide to tackle a topic that’s debated for ages. Who is the Best High School Football Player of All Time from Northeat Florida?
Fans get a chance to vote and the winner will advance in a field of 32 players until we crown one best of the best player. Tonight, we simply reveal the names, but in the days ahead we reveal the matchups and run down the accolades of each player. Remeber, this list is only based off each player’s high school careers,. College or professional success was not factored into the selection process, nor should it be factored into the voting process. DuvalSports.com writers Andre’ Ellis and Corey Davis selcted the list after days of debates and decicions. Undoubtebly there will be debate, as to who was left off the list. Andre’ and Corey’ will reveal their picks after each round and matchup, but you the fans are the ultimate decider as to who will advance to the next round.
