The Senators would ride the first quarter wave stagnating the Stingrays with quick plays and passes closing out with a piercing 6-0 lead.

Fletcher world continue to lead Atlantic Coast deep into the second quarter while the Stingrays remained scoreless. Goalie Randy Prosswimmer remained diligently blocking Atlantic Coast’s scoring attempts.

However, the Stingrays would ultimately sting the Senators with a swift goal with less than a minute left in the quarter. Fletcher would go on to close out the first half of the game leading Atlantic Coast 12-1.
