Florida High School Athletic Association softball district tournaments will play out today through Friday. Admission is $6 per session at several sites around the area.
District champions and district runners-up advance to region tournaments next week, which will begin May 8-9.

Tournaments will take place at Flagler Palm Coast, Atlantic Coast, Gainesville, Bartram Trail, Daytona State College, Clay, Paxon, Baker County, West Nassau, Santa Fe, Trinity, St. Johns Country Day, Christ’s Church and Williston.
A handful of teams have already clinched playoff spots by virtue of being No. 1 seeds in three-team districts including Mandarin and Baker County.
