It’s Ed White vs Wolfson tonight in the 5A Boys Basketball Regional Semifinals. Ed White mounted the victories early in the season. The Commanders won 69-65 on December 12th, 78-74 on January 13th, and 66-63 on January 22nd. However Wolfson won the most recent contest for the district title 55-52, giving cause for concern if your a Commander. Do the Wolfpack finally have the Commander’s number?
Ty Railey will once again be a focal point for Wolfson’s offense. He’ll need help from 3 Sam Murray for them to keep it close with Ed White this time. Without question the Commanders will be ready after the bitter loss. They’ll rely on Big Anthony Johnson and talented Dalvin Storey to once again dominate the paint and the perimeter. It may come down to the X factors in this one. For Wolfson, Tommy Collins will have to step up to give his team an advantage. But for White, they have the ability for anyone to step up, including the explosive Tyrone Young or the Gateway Championship hero Anthony Jeanty.
