Jackson Causes Nightmares In The Graveyard Defeating Raines To Win District Title

Jacksonville Fl- It was a battle for the 2M-1 District crown between the Jackson Tigers (7-1) and the Raines Vikings (6-1). Jackson came into the game winners of 7-straight after falling to Brunswick on kick-off classic weekend. Raines were winners of 5-straight games coming into the contest as both teams were red-hot. In the end, it would be Main Street, over Moncrief as Jackson brought Nightmares to the Graveyard defeating Raines 21-12 Thursday night.

Raines took a 12-0 lead in the second quarter after a Sincere Cohen 2-yard touchdown run opened the scoring in the first quarter. The Vikings missed the extra point. That score was set up by a deflected pass that fell into the hands of Raines’ defensive back Michael Singleton at the Jackson 2-yard line.
