Jacksonville Fl- The Landon Lions Middle School boys soccer team capped an impressive season with a hard-fought championship performance that reflected the team’s identity all year: disciplined defense, strong midfield play, and timely scoring.
The Lions entered the title match with momentum after dominating the postseason, and they carried that energy into the final. Landon controlled possession early, using quick passing through the midfield to create scoring opportunities to get the 2-0 victory over Mandarin .
Landon defeated Highlands in the first round of the playoffs, and then Fletcher in the Semifinals. Congratulations to Coach Bobby Hewes and Coach Rita Mankin and the entire team on a magnificent season.
