Callahan– Â Jared Caldwell(#8) , running back for Menendez scampered for a forty yard touchdown to break the ice in their preseason contest versus West Nassau Saturday night. There were several nice runs from West Nassau runningback #22 Devion Dubose that almost broke through the middle. But the highlight of the first half was QB #12 Bryce Jenkins connecting with #10 WR Quinn Coxwell on a deep bomb in the second quarter to pull the Warriors within one of the Falcons. That’s all the scoring there would be in the first half as Menendez led 7-6 over West Nassau.
The second half featured some costly mistakes by Menendez which resulted in opportunities for West Nassau. The JV teams were inserted with nine minutes remaining in the fourth, as the warrior’s units were able to get into the end zone. Final Score West Nassau 20 vs Menenedez-7
