T’s Top Ten: Duval Sports Girls Basketball Rankings December 13th

A great week of exciting Girls basketball and the new rankings are out! Check them out below!

  1. Bolles (7-1) – holding on to the #1 spot, the Bulldogs had huge wins this week but their top competition will happen this weekend at the Mainland Holiday Tournament in Daytona Beach
  2. Bishop Kenny (6-4) – the Lady Crusaders are a 3-1 run this week after losing to Braden River in the Lakewood High School Holiday Tournament but bounced back and had an impressive win over Sandalwood. The Crusaders will be tested this weekend on the road at Spruce Creek for their holiday tournament
  3. Raines (11-1) – Raines jumped a spot over Ribault this week after they beat them at home last Saturday. The Lady Vikings also had a solid win over another top ten team against Middleburg
  4. Ribault (8-2) – hard fought battle against Raines came up short but bounced back at won against a solid Terry Parker squad
  5. University Christian (8-0) – the undefeated Lady Christians had back to back wins that totaled in them outscoring their opponents 130-50
  6. Sandalwood (7-2) – the Lady Saints dropped 1 spot this week after beating a win over Lee but a loss to Bishop Kenny
  7. Middleburg (6-2) – stayed in the same spot after an impressive win over Ocala Vanguard but a loss to #3 Raines
  8. Creekside (5-1) – no games played this week after school was shut down but they are set to play rival Bartram Trail tonight
  9. St. Augustine (7-0) NEW TEAM ALERT – the Lady Yellow Jackets have entered my top ten for the 1st time this year and look to win big over their rival Pedro this weekend. A true test for St. Augustine comes next Monday as they play Creekside
  10. Mandarin (7-2) – on a three game win streak
