It’s a spring celebration in Northeast Florida, as championships galore grace the first coast. Drake and Future once said, “I got a really big team
And they need some really big rings”
. Team “Duuuuuval” is big, encompassing several counites in the area and several teams represented in their state championship contest making for a festive spring break. Let’s recap who’s sporting the new bling with championships and rings.

Bartram Trail (St. Johns) defeated Cypress Bay (Weston), 4-0 in the FHSAA Class 7A state championship game on March 5th. Sophomore Grace Ivey scored three goals, while senior Olivia Glass added another goal as the Bears dominated the afternoon. Junior Baily Dean was a defensive machine with five saves in the championship game. Senior Kiley Williams, junior Reese Wheeler, and freshman Carolyn Johnson all had assists in the contest.

Bartram Trail and Coach Jen Rodriguez won their second straight state championship. The reigning Florida Dairy Farmers Girls Soccer Coach of the Year guided her team to a 19-2 record in 2020-2021, with 14 straight wins culminating into a championship. Congrats are in order for the Bears, “back 2 back” champions, sport your bling, and enjoy the rings.
