Northeast Fl- It’s the second half of the season and we’re seeing lots of teams pulling away from the rest of the pack in wins. Others are gaining speed, while some are falling behind. The top two undefeated teams both have interesting matchups tonight. Let’s see if anyone can catch them.

1. St. Augustine (5-0)

Defeated Matanzas 49-9, has (4-2) Nease up next, which could be interesting if the Panthers come to play. The Jackets are the best team in Northeast Florida and showing it.

2. Bradford (5-0)

Defeated Keystone 48-6. Another completely domiating performance by the Tornadoes. They have Oakleaf (2-2) tonight. This will be their toughest test to date, and we’ll see if they can pass it.

3. Creekside (3-3)

That’s two in a row for Creekside, who defeated Oakleaf at home 38-20. A much needed bye for the Knights before facing rival Bartram in two weeks.

4. Mandarin (4-2)

Mustangs fell to Lake Mary (5-0) Friday. They could very well see that team again in the playoffs, so the Mustangs may have been holding some things back. After a two game skid, Mandarin will get back to it’s winning ways against Westside (0-6).

5. Bolles (3-3)

Three straight for the Bulldogs after defeating Episcopal 48-21. They travel to Columbia (1-4) who is having a down year but is always a tough place to play. Columbia will have to stop the running game of Bolles, as every running back has scored on the season.

6. Bartram (3-2)

An impressive win on the road against Fleming Island 49-28, Bartram seems to be getting it’s confidence back with the return of Riley Trujillo. Laython Biddle was amazing, rushing for 298yds and 3 TDS! They have their toughest test against IMG Academy tonight, an enormous confidence booster if they can pull off the upset.

7. Trinity Christian (4-2)

An overtime win against Rockledge proved to be their toughest win of the season. Riverside may pose another tough test tonight, if Trinity doesn’t sure up the turnovers. Still, they are a resilient team, that’s winning in many different ways.

8. Ponte Vedra (4-1)

Ponte Vedra destroyed Flagler Palm Coast 31-0 last week. They are getting stronger and better every week. They have a big one against Bishop Kenny (4-1) tonight.

9. Raines (3-1)

An improbable last second win against Riverside has Raines ridnig high. They are home for First Coast (2-3) tonight in a game that they can’t look past as First Coast has gained momentum the last few weeks.

10. Fletcher (4-2)

Fletcher domindated Parker 41-0 last week. Marcelis Tate is back and the difference is clear on the team. They host a (4-2) Ed White team that is hungry for a signature win against a top team this year.
