    • Tadarius Washington broke free for a 79-yard rushing TD, and Tisean Haynes contributed a 10-yard score
    • DJ Johdeem Jones, Jy’Tye Flornoy, and Troy Butler all scored defensive touchdowns, and Shareef Jackson added a punt return TD
  • Why #1: A dominant performance on all fronts, with explosive offense, opportunistic defense, and special teams delivery—not often do you see that kind of all-around dominance.

2. Bradford Tornadoes

  • Player Highlights: QB Cy Cubbedge delivered two touchdown passes: one 11-yard and another 25-yards.  Iyen Addison caught a TD and rushed for a TD. Jarell Harris added a 63-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
  • Why #2: Back-to-back clean sheets show their suffocating defense is once again at a state-level force early in the season. But what is impressive is adding a passing element to the offense that was already run dominant is scary.

  • Result: 35–12 win over Trinity Christian Academy
  • Player Stats:
    • Offense combined for 176 passing yards, 176 receiving yards, and 118 rushing yards
    • QB Jaden Weatherly threw 3 touchdown passes, and the defense chipped in with game-changing interceptions by TJ Williamson and Santana Starks.
  • Why #3: A balanced attack with explosive offensive output and timely defensive plays continues their perfection through two weeks. Bolles has the ability to over power St. Augustine with their size. 6’5 Asher Ghioto, 6’4 Corbyn Fordham, 6’4 JJ Sparks

4. Nease Panthers

  • Result: 50–8 rout of Creekside
  • Player Highlights: Damion Bridges had 2 interceptions and took one of them to the house for a pick 6 leading the Nease defense to the shutout. It was an all-around balanced game for the Panthers offense.
  • Why #5: Strong offensive showing and consistency through two games puts them firmly in the top half of regional elite. A 42-point blowout showed offensive precision and defensive sufficiency.

5. St. Augustine Yellow Jackets

  • Result: 48–6 victory over Menendez
  • Player Highlights: Brenton James is rolling right now. James tossed 4 touchdowns last week, and passed for 254 yards.  Julio Santiago, who had 106-yards receiving against Palatka and has scored in both games this year. Then there’s Miami commit Somourian Wingo who caught 2 TDs and went for 117 yards receiving versus Menendez. These two dynamic receivers will be the first major tests for Bolles defensive backs this week.
  • Why #4: Their dominance continues—a 42-point win over a cross-town rival reinforces their status as a high-powered squad.

6. Mandarin Mustangs

  • Result: 54–16 victory over Atlantic Coast
  • Player Highlights:
    • Sophomore Brysen Wright brought the highlight reel again with an end-to-end pick-six, another punt return TD, and a receiving touchdown! He was named Duval Sports Week 2 Player of the Week for the tri-fecta!
  • Why #6: Wright’s multi-phase dominance keeps Mandarin dangerous—with a special player capable of turning any moment into six points. But this team has many more stars that makes them dangerous. Kyree Wilson had a touchdown in the game and made our 2024-2024 First Team Prime Time Players list.

  • Result: 56–7 win over Orange Park
  • Player Highlights: Jack McKissock passed for 315 yards and 3 TDs. Cornell Moses keeps pilling up touchdowns. He scored 3 on the ground.
  • Why #8: Offensive outburst and defense flex (4 INTs) = top 10-worthy performance; a nearly 50-point blowout speaks volumes about team execution and improvement from week 1.

9. Columbia Tigers (Lake City, FL)

  • Result: 20–14 win over Coffee High (GA)
  • Player Highlights: Kameron Mills put on a show leading his team in tackles (10) and having a game changing pick 6 for a 60 yard return. He also came in to run wild-cat after the starting quarterback went down with injury.
  • Why #9: A solid road win keeps them in the mix. A tight win over a very tough out-of-state rival showed grit on defense as Columbia had 8 sack. As well as on the ground as Jerome Horne rushed for a touchdown. They fall only because of the injury situation with starting quarterback Xavier Collins.

10. Fletcher Senators

  • Result: 45–8 win over Parker
  • Player Highlights: Cruz James-Baje tossed 5 touchdowns and passed for 320 yards
  • Why #10: Resounding win shows how talented this team is. Both Joshua Jones, and Diondre Smith had 150 yards receiving. Smith had 3 TDs and Jones had 1.
