Northeast Fl-The Bolles Bulldogs (2–0) extended their perfect 2025 start on Friday night, rolling past the Trinity Christian Conquerors 35–12 at home. With another commanding performance, Bolles not only improved their record but also maintained their seven-game home winning streak.
Weatherly Spreads The Wealth
Bolles began assertively, leading 7–0 after the first quarter. Quarterback Jaden Weatherly showcased his dual-threat capability, finishing the night with 172 passing yards, three aerial touchdowns, and a rushing score, topping off another polished performance under center. He connected with Tight End Corbyn Fordham for a touchdown. Camden Tietze and Malakhi Dunn both caught touchdowns in the contest. Wide receiver Naeem Burroughs proved a frequent target, hauling in six catches for 88 yards.
Balancing the Attack
On the ground, sophomore Xander Edwards led the Bulldogs with 100 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, helping balance Bolles’ offense and open up passing lanes. It’s his second straight 100-yard performance.

Defensive Dominance
Bolles’ defense also shined. The Conquerors were held to just 45% passing accuracy and under 130 yards on the ground. Defensive backs Santana Starks and TJ Williamson each snagged interceptions. Starks interception stifled Trinity’s redzone attempt, while Williamson, De’Angelo Ford Jr., and Major Lee combined for multiple pass breakups.

With this win, Bolles improves to 2–0 for the season. On the other side, Trinity Christian falls to 0–2, and will look to bounce back against Raines, who won their first game of the season 77-0 over Sandalwood. It doesn’t get any easier for the Conquerors.
Preview: Bolles vs. St. Augustine (Sept 5)
Bolles’ victory sets the stage for a marquee showdown—this Friday, September 5, the Bulldogs will host the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets, winners 48–6 over Menendez in week 2, and 41-0 over Palatka in week 1. They also stand at 2–0—and it promises to be a high flying matchup.

It brings a true litmus test for Bolles. St. Augustine, a high-powered offense led by junior quarterback Brenton James is rolling right now. James tossed 4 touchdowns last week, and passed for 254 yards. He tossed 3 TDs and ran for another score versus Palatka week 1.
The Jackets also have Julio Santiago, who had 106-yards receiving against Palatka and has scored in both games this year. Then there’s Miami commit Somourian Wingo who caught 2 TDs and went for 117 yards receiving versus Menendez. These two dynamic receivers will be the first major tests for Bolles defensive backs this year.

The Bulldogs will rely on Weatherly’s versatile attack, and Edwards’ ground game behind Miami commit J.J Sparks and Ryan Ingram paving the way. An opportunistic defense also benefits from Burrough’s versatility which saw him grab an interception versus Monarch. The Clemson commit has 181 yards receiving and a TD on the year. This will be a battle of the best 2026 receivers in Northeast Florida.

Ohio State commit Simeon Caldwell leads Bolles with 20 tackles. Senior defensive tackle Chance Faucheaux leads the team with 2 sacks. Five star sophomore defensive lineman Asher Ghioto has a sack on the year as well. They’ll try to contain a St. Augustine running game that has averaged 108ypg and has 5 TDs.
St. Augustine is led by head coach Brian Braddock, who led his team to the state semifinals last year, and the state championship the year before that. Bolles head man Matt Toblin has guided Bolles to the playoffs every year he’s been at the program including two championship appearances.
