Marcus Stokes

Nicknamed ” The Joker” Marcus Stokes is always considered the ” Wild Card” when he steps on the field. He’s a duel threat quarterback with deceptive speed, who can get the ball down field to his targets. He makes lots of plays in crunch time and plays with tremendous confidence. Has played basketball at the high school level.

As predicted by Andre’ Ellis of  DuvalSports.com Stokes had a tremendous breakout junior season for Nease.  He led the Panthers to the playoffs with a 9-4 record, their first playoff win since 2008. He led the team in both passing and rushing yards tossing the pigskin for 2,672 yards with 22 touchdowns, while rushing for 496 yards with 6 touchdowns. Stokes will certainly be a Times Union Super 11, and is ranked the #1 area quarterback by Duval Sports in 2023. He is a 2021-2022 Duval Sports Prime Time Player. Stokes committed to Florida July 7th after flipping from a commitment to Penn State in April.
