Northeast Fl- Week 6 on the power rankings reveal teams who have moved up due to signature wins, as well as teams looking for that signature win to keep them on the list. There are some undefeated teams that are on the outside looking in because they lack a signature win. On this Top 10, wins against Top 10 teams matter, and you’ll prove your true power facing top competition.
1. St. Augustine Yellow Jackets (5-0)

Result: Beat Nease 28-24 in a classic battle.
Highlights / Key Stats: Julio Santiago 138 yards receiving led all Jackets receivers. Brenton James passed for 293 yards 2 TDs, and rushed for 77 yards and a TD
- Brenton James at QB delivered when it mattered—good passing numbers, finding Somourian Wingo twice for touchdown receptions, including a Hail Mary just before halftime that gave them momentum.
- Trendell Anderson scored what turned into the go-ahead touchdown with about two minutes left. His score and the defense holding on down the stretch sealed this one.
- Offensively balanced; had to respond after Nease pulled ahead late. Defense made key plays in final minutes.
Why #1: They won in spite of their top rusher (Anderson) being held to just 7 yards on the ground. The undefeated Jackets have shown they can win in the tight level closeness of big moments as they’ve done in signature wins against Bolles, Riverside, and now Nease. They are battle tested and it doesn’t stop as undefeated Columbia comes to town this Friday.
2. Raines Vikings (3-0)

Result: BYE
Highlights: QB T.J Cole has 618 yards passing, 10 TDs, 130yds rushing and 2 TDs in just 3 games.
On defense, Troy Butler leads the team with 20 tackles, 7 TFLs. Tony Williams leads with 3 sacks, and 4 Vikings have picks this season for a dominant defense.
Though Raines had a quieter week in terms of matchups due to their bye, their consistency, depth, and earlier dominant wins still keep them high.
No major game result pulled themselves down this week; however St. Augustine jumps them due to more games played, and tougher strength of schedule to date.
The Vikings remain dangerous, although they don’t particularly have a dangerous schedule ahead. They face Riverside this week, a team they should handle fairly easy. Madison County is the closest regular season contest the Vikings have to a signature opponent.
3. Mandarin Mustangs (4-1)

Result: Lost to IMG Academy 57-7.
Highlights / Key Stats: Tian Wyche 70 yards receiving, 1 TD
- IMG ran over them, showing the gap vs a national powerhouse. Still, Mandarin’s defense showed some fight in parts; their offense had moments though largely stifled as IMG held Brysen Wright to just 20 yards receiving.
- Mandarin is now 4-1, with their previous undefeated run ended. Signature win over Bradford and past games keep them ranked high, as this loss means nothing against a Super Team like IMG.
- Mandarin will look to have a bounce back game versus First Coast (3-1)
4. Bolles Bulldogs (4-1)

Result: Crushed Oakleaf 38-6.
Highlights / Key Stats: Xander Edwards rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns.
- Edwards continues to be a workhorse, averaging at least 100+ yards per game. He was named Duval Sports Week 5 Player of the Week for his performance versus Oakleaf
- Bolles also scored via defense/special teams (defensive lineman Asher Ghioto scored the final touchdown) which shows their ability to dominate not just via offense but all phases.
- Their running game control and time-of-possession dominance wore out Oakleaf led by Senior signal caller Jaden Weatherly.
- At true signature win on the road versus a Top 10 team is why Bolles rises again to the Top 5.
5. Nease Panthers (4-1)

Result: Close loss to St. Augustine 28-24.
Highlights / Key Stats: Brayden Felder 160 yards receiving 2 TDs, Aiden Phifer 247 yards passing 1 TD
- Aiden Phifer threw a touchdown pass; Brayden Felder caught one; Phifer also a rushing touchdown. Their offense kept pressure until very late.
- Nease defense had moments but couldn’t contain St. Augustine’s closing drives. Still, they almost pulled this one off.
- The running game was held in check by the Jackets with -20 yards rushing which is a concern and why they dropped to #5.
- They have another major test, this time on the road versus Buchholz (4-1). A signature win over them will prove a a lot about the Panthers true power.
6. Ed White Commanders (4-0)

Result: 54-14 win over Terry Parker
Highlights: QB King Boylston tossed 4 TDs, Rontrez Loyd rushed for 2 TDs
- Ed White’s dominance over lesser opponents continued versus Terry Parker. Previous strong showings against Englewood and Westside have yielded large margins of victory, and consistency still protect their place in the Top 10.
- White hosts Merritt Island (3-2) at home today. This will be their toughest test of the season so far and we will find out a lot about this team. A signature win before their tougher part of the schedule begins will prove their true power.
7. Columbia Tigers (Lake City) (5-0)

Result: Columbia edged out visiting Trinity Christian 27-20.
Highlights / Key Stats: Jerome Horne with 157 yards rushing and 2 TDs
- Tight win but important one over a team that traditionally gets better as the season progresses. Offense had to make plays; including WR Kyren Caldwell with a touchdown again. But surprisingly he only had 26 yards receiving as Trinity held him in check.
- Senior leadership with Kameron Mills (9 tackles, 2 sacks) and Julian De La Cruz (INT), and the ability to close close games are major positives for the Tigers
- The defense bent late but held on. Columbia stays undefeated. They’ll have a much stiffer test against St. Augustine this week.
- Congratulations to head coach Brian Allen on achieving his 100th win at Columbia. Allen’s impressive resume of wins is documented below. His success as coach, rivals only his success as a collegiate star at FSU, and NFL linebacker.

8. Bradford Tornadoes (4-1)

Result: Beat Eastside 28-7 on 9/19.
Highlights: Nate Raymond led the team with 12 tackles and 3 sacks in a convincing win over Eastside
- Solid two-score win showed Top 10 worthiness, with multiple players scoring TDs. Kemontae Nixon had 56 yards receiving and a TD.
- Defense again key in keeping opponent limited.
Why #8: Also good wins, but doesn’t carry as much weight vs the top group. Drops a bit behind Columbia due to lesser opponent strength and less explosive offense in that outing. Looking for that signature win. It won’t come this week against 0-4 Keystone.
9. Oakleaf Knights (4-1)

Result: Loss to Bolles 38-6.
Highlights / Key Stats: Fareed Coleman rushed for 119 yards and a TD. Jack McKissock passed for 273 yards
- Oakleaf had been undefeated entering the game with a signature win over Hawthorne. Bolles ran them down with a punishing rushing attack though. Xander Edwards again is a thorn. Oakleaf’s offense struggled; defense had few stops and they will get a redo this week with Fletcher’s Jahmyri Jennings, and Josh Jones.
- Look for Oakleaf to bounce back and try to get rid of the taste in their mouth. The defensive line will have to step up this week against the run.
10. Fletcher Senators (4-1)

Result: 35-0 over Sandalwood
Highlights: Joshua Jones went off against Sandalwood with 213 yards receiving and 3 Touchdowns! His quarterback Cruz James-Bajek also had an impressive night passing for 275 yards and 3 touchdowns.
- Fletcher has another chance to upset a Top 10 opponent. They fell short to Nease two weeks ago, but today gets Oakleaf at home, looking for that signature win.
- Look for a strong dose of Jahmyri Jennings who rushed for 118 yards and 2 TDs versus Sandalwood last week. He has rushed for 479 yards and 8 TDs in five games this year.
- The key to Fletcher’s success will be their defense. Can UCF commit Elijah Keys and Will Reynolds whom both have 3 interceptions on the year contain the explosive athletes of Oakleaf.
Best of the Rest: Beachside (4-1), Fleming Island (3-1), Middleburg (5-0), University Christian (4-1), Yulee (5-0)
